LEGEND has it that around 6000 years ago the original source of pure iron was from meteorites. Their blazing tails where followed across the night sky and dug smoking out of a crater. Ye olde blacksmith then heated and shaped this intergallatic metal into various hardwearing products such as wheels and horseshoes. A good blacksmith can, with minimal effort, make a sophisticated product that looks good and demonstrates ingenuity.

This ancient and legendary tradition has changed little since the dawn of civilisation, the same fundamental  techniques are used to shape and join the metal. Tools and new machninery has made life easier and thesedays metal gets delivered on a lorry! A little cosmic magic rubs off the ancient anvil onto all of ther original metal shapes that fly out of the workshop.
